WEVERTON CLIFFS, MD: SHORT MODERATE HIKE PAIRED WITH VISITS TO A WINERY AND BREWERY.
Although this is one of our shorter trails, you will still earn your post-hike drinks at both a local vineyard and brewery.
This 3-mile out and back hike may be short, but you'll still get your workout. After climbing up switchbacks for the first 1.5 miles on the well known Appalachian Trail, you will find yourself atop of Weverton Cliffs. From there, you'll be rewarded with wide views of the Potomac River winding through the Appalachian Mountains.
This shorter trail will allow the time for stops to two impressive drinking holes. First, we will head to the beautiful Creeks Edge Winery, where you will feel as though your sipping wine in a large mountain lodge still surrounded by nature. From there we will head to Vanish Farmwoods Brewery, famous for massive flights of delicious beer.

We will be picking up and dropping off from the Metro Center station.
